Meet the team

So maybe you are curious how does a two man company dare to produce a full-blown product in the term of maturity, usability, performance, quality, support and all artifacts around it?

Well, the answer is simple. It is all about the people behind it.

There are two Dwarf Technologies founding dwarfs. Before getting there - why dwarves? That's quite simple. Throughout our history, there are a lot of giants. People who dedicated their time to move us (as a humanking) forward. Uncovered natural laws, invented technologies and basically everything we take in our lives as granted. Mathematics? Electricity? Culture? The Internet? A myriad of other things? People behind that are the giants. To pay at least a little respect to these giants on whose work with are building everything on, we call ourselves dwarves.

Yeah, once the time is ripe, Dwarf Technologies would like to add a little bit to the technology around us. Until that time comes, we need to create a commercial basis we can thrive on and start building our real vision. The commercial basis starts with our first product - the MAMAS software. So let's find out who is behind it!

Jan, commonly called as Bazil is behind the stuff you usually don't see. The stuff running on the server, on the agents - the UGLY 'n DIRTY STUFF. Yeah, he is also a veteran developer, project manager, product owner, software architect, head of R&D, Linux server admin, founder of several commercial products for multiple companies (when in employee mode)... so a little bit elder dwarf.

Technically speaking, he's home at the C language and similar stuff like C++, bash, Linux, DB, Python and a lot of other things like creating new concepts, playing with untried paradigms etc. Also a proud father of a bunch of kids, knows very well what reliability really means.

As for the MAMAS RMM software point of view, here is an answer why we started with Advantech cellular routers - Jan was the Head of R&D for Advantech Czech Republic for roughly 6 years, being behind not only the managerial part like building the R&D from 12 guys to 30, but also personally defining or contributing to products like Advantech VPN Portal, layout of customer portal and many other similar stuff.

Now here comes the more more favourite founding member - Lukas - the guy behind the NICE 'n CLEAN STUFF. Another veteran developer of one-man-army-made products and the one able to juggle multiple things at the same time able to handle anything from the system level over databases through web backend to frontend and covering design at the same time. The second elder founding member of Dwarf Technologies.

Technically speaking there's hardly any area Lukas haven't touched, while focusing on the web development and the user-facing stuff. Almost everything that's visible to the user is done by Lukas - not limited to MAMAS software. Knowing well that customers relying on us and also being a father he's another guy that's dedicated hard on deliverying what's needed.

What's relevant from MAMAS RMM point of view - Lukas is the person who implemented not only the aforementioned VPN portal and Advantech CZ customer web, but a number of business applications both on integration level but also end-to-end.

We plan to grow our dwarven team, but that's something for the future. Now we are focusing on nurturing MAMAS personally to build something reliable and usable for it's mission. Hope you enjoy it at least as we do! See you around!
